The upcoming release of new Scandinavian series Ragnarok on Netflix in January 2020 got me reminiscing about the first Scandinavian show I watched, the original The Killing series based on the books by David Hewson, which was eventually remade into an American series starring Mireille Enos and Joel Kinnaman, which I also watched with pleasure.
